A 13-WEEK PHILOSOPHICAL & ECOLOGICAL INITIATION 𖤓

Recover the
curiosity, imagination, intuition, and critical thinking you were trained to numb.

Learn to read
the world (its symbols, systems, patterns, and mythologies) with precision and depth.

Stop outsourcing
your sense-making
and begin living
from the part of you
no institution, ideology, or algorithm can colonize.

Rooted Impact is a 13-week philosophical
re-education, where we un-learn extractive paradigms, reclaim sense-making, reawaken awareness and expand our wisdom.

This is so much more than intellectual theory though.
It’s a living practice that changes how you show up in your work, your relationships, your leadership, and your daily life.

You've played the script
you've been given, and you're
even good at it.

You've achieved things, built things, maybe you're respected, maybe even successful by conventional measures. But achievement never feels like arrival, success tastes like ash.

There's an exhaustion in living this way that has nothing to do with how hard you're working and everything to do with what you're working within. Because something about the world is fundamentally misaligned. Politically and economically, of course, but deeper: perceptually, relationally, cosmologically. And you sense this.

You sense the masks of domination: endless growth masking scarcity, individualism masquerading as freedom, productivity mistaken for achievement, and systems claiming neutrality while serving power. But when you try to explain all of this, how it works, why it feels so total, what else could even exist… the words falter.

You know something is wrong. But you aren’t sure about the concepts to fully understand why, or have the tools to imagine what could exist instead.

So your critique becomes instinctual but slippery. You think "this doesn't feel right," but struggle to articulate the structures beneath that feeling. At the same time, you feel drawn toward intuition, the body, nature, ritual, beauty.

You notice how your nervous system responds to land, silence, rhythm, care. You sense intelligence there: but you've been trained to treat it as personal, or merely therapeutic. So you live in a tension. You carry sharp perception without adequate concepts, deep sensitivity without cultural shelter, a longing for joy and enchantment paired with the fear of bypassing, naïveté, or “not doing enough.”

You feel the weight of the world, and you feel life calling you back to itself. And you don't want to betray either. What’s missing is orientation.

You were never taught how to think clearly about power without becoming cynical, or how to trust embodied knowing without collapsing into self-help. How to understand intuition as ecological intelligence, not a personality trait. How to imagine ways of living that don't simply replicate the systems you critique.

So you’re left oscillating between awareness and paralysis. Between critique and exhaustion. Between beauty and guilt. And you're done sensing from the margins.

You now refuse shallow critique and shallow spirituality. You want to develop the conceptual depth, embodied awareness, and ecological literacy required not just to see through the veil but to begin rebuilding, from the roots, another way of being.

You’re hungry for real
knowledge and the courage
to live accordingly.

say no more, i'm ready

Knowledge has always been power. That's why they burned the witches and the libraries. Because people who can read the signs, trust their own wisdom, and think for themselves cannot be controlled.

This is still happening today. The humanities are being stripped from schools worldwide, labeled "divisive" or "useless".

AI is being pushed to replace human discernment. Speed is replacing depth. Metrics are replacing meaning.

Because a population that cannot think for itself will accept any reality it is sold.

And it's working. People are losing access to the Earth and they're losing access to their own minds.

We're drowning in information but starving for wisdom and real connection. We can analyze everything but change nothing.

We've traded depth for hot takes, nuance for viral outrage, rigorous thinking for performance.

We sense what's wrong but we've lost the capacity to imagine what's right.

THAT’S WHERE ROOTED IMPACT STEPS IN

What you need now is not another framework for success, but new foundations for discernment. Because domination has not only extracted your labor and land, it has colonized your imagination. To reclaim the future, you must first reclaim your capacity to think, to feel, to relate.

Rooted Impact teaches you HOW to think, not WHAT to think. You'll unlearn the paradigms keeping you trapped in extractive logic, rebuild your relationship with both rigorous thinking and embodied intuition, and develop discernment as a living practice.

It is a fundamental reorientation of consciousness. And everything else (your work, your relationships, your creative practice, your leadership) transforms as a result.

Who is this
work for?

For the thinkers, seekers, creators, mystics, and changemakers who sense that something sacred has been lost in the way we build, work, lead, and dream… and who are ready to re-root their impact in truth, care, and coherence.

Rooted Impact invites you into deeper thinking, coherent feeling, precise speaking, and grounded creating.

You’ll navigate culture and crisis with more discernment, and your sense of purpose will feel rooted, not frantic.

We take seriously both Foucault and the Fool card, both systems theory and synchronicity, both ecological science and mystical sensation.

If you’ve ever felt torn between your love of fantasy novels and your commitment to social change, this is the integration you've been seeking.

this is me 100%

If you read philosophy under blankets, talk to trees, see patterns others overlook, feel too deeply for this frenetic world, or crave a life of depth instead of performative “impact”; you are already walking toward this work.

This is the path for those who refuse to become numb. This is the work for those who know they are meant to create change that is not performative but rooted.

If that’s you, you’re standing at the threshold.

As seen during Rooted Impact Volume I & Volume II

My greatest joy is bringing philosophical thinking into contact with the things that actually move us: myths, stories, the structures underneath culture, the archetypes we keep meeting.

My work is a combination of Philosophy, Deep Ecology, Critical Theory, and Mysticism - where the abstract becomes tangible and the intellectual turns visceral.

I guide thinkers, seekers, activists, artists who are ready to unlearn the paradigms they’ve inherited and reimagine their place in a living, conscious world.

THE CURRICULUM IS DELICIOUS

Cluster 1:
Epistemology & Perception

Before we can question what we believe, we have to question how we come to believe it. This cluster interrogates what counts as knowledge, whose ways of knowing have been dismissed or erased.

Cluster 2:
Ontology & Metaphysics

Here we descend into the oldest questions: what is, what isn't, and what holds a thing together at all. We trace the fractures that split a living world into categories.

Cluster 3:
Ethics & Practice

Philosophy that doesn't touch how we live is just decoration. This cluster turns toward practice & the politics. It's where inquiry becomes a way of moving through the world.

Across 13 weeks, you will study philosophy and cultural theory; learn to read systems, myths, and symbols; experiment with embodied and ecological practices; and translate insight into your creative work, relationships, leadership, and everyday decisions.

Love notes from past students <3

Maia Benaim

This course returned my love for philosophy, for original thinking, for INQUIRY. I haven't had this much fun with a course in so long. I filled up pages upon pages and I loved how simple yet deep Ximena makes it. I would recommend this to anyone who has fallen out of love with learning, because my greatest outcome was realizing I need to stop looking for outcomes when I learn. It returned me to the actual essence of filosofía: love for knowledge. I am so happy I took this and I will be coming back to my notes again and again.

If you are thinking of joining Rooted Impact, trust it: the calling is there for a reason; it will probably open a lot of portals that you were yearning for. Life after it feels more coherent, and the weight of not having all the answers (academic validations for your arguments, or self-made solutions to the biggest social issues, etc) decreases. You understand how, by whom, and the possible whys of being taught this "individual and separated from it all way of being, thinking of ourselves, existing and therefore relating" (or vice versa, if you take it, you will understand).

This last part. We are relations, like it, believe it or not. And that has been my biggest lesson and blessing, sostener y ser sostenida. To hold and be held, to rely on it, to think of it and the source of all flourishing and sustainability (in any area that you might work, or culture that you belong to).

“ Do it, my dear creature; we need braver and connected thinkers. We've got work to do, and life to live without the numbness that we are being trapped into.”

This program is a self-investigation. A beautifully approachable and thoughtfully crafted journey through which you are very likely going to change your mind about philosophy, yes, but more importantly through which you will find a source of language, exercises, and a space for imagination and conversation around the underlying structures and narratives (ontologies:P) that are shaping our world today. (the commonly mentioned, but superficially understood capitalism, patriarchy, and all the other siblings ). It's different from other programs because there isn't any pressure to perform; you show up as you are, with the amount of theoretical knowledge that you have, without being judged. I say theoretical because one of the portals that opened to me was the bast source of knowledge that we carry: the ability to recognize, nurture, and honor my intuition, my senses, my ancestry (not only the reason, not only what is approved in a paper, at least yet). You get where I'm going?

The need for fast and simple answers shifted; the program is still landing, and to be honest, more than a thing you will learn, enjoy, and nurture from. It's an infinite exercise, a practice, almost a ritual. It's a way to start a conversation as deep as we usually have with ourselves, with the other. That, after all, since we are because we relate, starts a conversation with that part of ourselves that we have been told is separate.

Without the romantic touch, you will gain the capacity to question and understand the destructive systems that govern us, how to make and spot well-structured arguments and claims passing as such, and alternative frameworks through which we could imagine and build a more sustainable world. (and maybe this last paragraph is me being compliant in what a trustworthy review might look like just through the lens of reason).

Thank you, Xime, for believing in my capacity to think and for your passionate way of teaching.

Rooted impact reorients you into a world of choice inside your own existence. It exposes decisions you never even realized you made. It pulls back the curtain on the depth of perspectives and patterns you’ve inherited over an lifetime and emboldens you to not only be able to see another way, but the confidence to stand in the questioning itself.

I joined rooted impact at a time where I felt like the walls were closing in due to both the enraging political climate and frustrating personal dynamics. I was seeking understanding and a way to feel grounded and at peace in my own truth. What I discovered was an unraveling of all of the guardrails I didn’t even realize I had on my ability to conceive new possibilities for what my truth could be.

Ximena is a rare breed of human and every session feels like a gift to share space with her. It’s so refreshing to be in an intimate container of people where the goal is not a narrow standard to achieve, but a total expansion of perspectives to live into.

I wouldn't be surprised if I end up taking this program over again. The content and experience is such that you just know in your bones you will arrive at it differently every time you visit it and each time will be a life giving gift.

I was thinking what to write that could encapsulate the experience of going through Rooted Impact. How to show the mental shifts and the emotional shifts that have happened during this experience? And first, I feel it's a very difficult task because it has meant so much in so many different levels.

But what has stuck with me the most was actually a quote from a class, in which Xime said that we could take comfort in being "a medicine amongst many others" and that landed deeply because we can often fail into the trap of understanding the world to change it with the "savior" mentality, which becomes part of the oppression of the system.

Nobody alone is meant to change the system. It's a collective, relational process. And I think that's the beautiful Magic of this program, how it offers so many beautiful medicines and keys to open doors (the capacity to listen, the body, understanding our natural rhythms, naming the systems of oppresion and how to challenge them) but the most beautiful key of them all for me is the space to craft your own answers, to sharpen your perspective and do it in community.

What Ximena is offering is a beautiful mix that opened a whole world of possibilities for me. I am deeply grateful for this exploration and if these themes resonate with you, please take the key invitation. It will for sure open your mind and heart to new realities. Eternally grateful.

Ximena and the spaces she creates are the balm this world needs right now.

Through her mind-cracking philosophy lessons combined with her intellectual rigor and commitment to making philosophy accessible, I feel more deeply connected to life itself. From how I see my relationship to nature, to how I relate to other humans, to breaking out of my own rigid thinking patterns, Ximena’s style of teaching and care has transformed my lens on curiosity.

I feel like I just entered the a carnival of life and excited to keep going on all the different rides it offers! Thank you Ximena for always encouraging me to “live the questions” — perhaps that’s the secret to life we’ve all been chasing after 😉

Kayleigh Martin

Ximena's wisdom, teaching, embodiment and depth of knowledge continuously amaze and delight all of my neurons.

Being able to learn from Xime is like giving yourself a gift that never stops. Xime has an indescribable yet extremely tangible way of translating complex philosophical topics and teaching them to you in a way that makes you want to learn more about your own self and how to live in this world.

I am changed and expanded just by being in Xime's world, and will be a student of hers forever.

KP

Learning from Ximena is an incredible, expansive experience that I would recommend to literally anyone but especially if you love pattern recognition and want to better understand the philosophy of thought. My previous experience with philosophy (in academia) was very stuffy and hard to understand. I struggled in such a way that I thought maybe philosophy was only for crusty old white dudes.

Ximena teaches classes that made me feel the opposite. She helped bring language to concepts I had experienced my whole life but didn't have the words for. Everything felt accessible and she answered any/all questions, explaining things multiple ways to make sure we all got it. Sometimes, during class, it was like I could feel my brain growing.

Ximena is such a breath of fresh air in the philosophy field and totally transformed my feelings towards the subject matter. 1000000/10! Literally everyone should learn from her

WHAT WILL YOU GAIN

Here's what becomes possible

Read beneath the surface. You’ll recognize the hidden narratives, incentives, and power structures shaping what is presented as normal, inevitable, or “common sense” and respond with clarity instead of reflex.

Create work that does not reproduce harm. You’ll bring a more ecological and regenerative intelligence to your work, art, leadership, and relationships; so your impact reflects the world you are actually trying to build.

Think without outsourcing yourself. You’ll meet new ideas and conflicts without abandoning your own discernment, because you’ll have a philosophical foundation strong enough to hold complexity without collapsing.

Speak with precision and courage. You’ll find language for what you sense but have not yet been able to articulate! allowing you to name patterns, ask better questions, set clearer boundaries, and invite more honest conversations.

Turn intuition into discernment. You’ll learn to distinguish fear, conditioning, desire, and embodied intelligence; so your inner knowing becomes something you can question, trust, and act from.

Restore your relationship to mystery. You’ll reclaim wonder without surrendering rigor, learning to approach symbols, dreams, nature, and the unknown as sources of inquiry rather than proof, escape, or superstition.

And this is so much more than personal transformation, it’s the necessary revolution of consciousness that will make other revolutions possible.

If you’re here, it’s because something in you is done with borrowed worldviews and the sanctioned numbness of our time.

You’re ready for a deeper way of thinking, creating, and being: one that honors your devotion to life.
